About the role
TL;DR
Design mechanical systems for organ-scale reversible cryopreservation.
- •As a mechanical engineer, you'll design everything from heat exchangers to clinical grade perfusion devices.
- •Key Responsibilities Design mechanical systems for organ-scale reversible cryopreservation.
- •Develop perfusion systems, cryoprotectant formulations, and vitrification and rewarming hardware.
- •Prototype and optimize designs for manufacturing.
- •Requirements Track record of exceptional engineering abilities. 3+ years experience/graduate level in Mechanical Engineering.
- •Highly proficient in DFM, CAD, FEA (Fusion 360 Preferred).
- •Highly proficient with common rapid prototyping and manufacturing processes.
- •Ability to spec a system based on first principles, design it, perform component selection, prototype, and then optimize for manufacturing.
- •Desire to join a fast-paced, scrappy engineering team.
