Head of Platform Engineering

Lead platform engineering, focusing on developer productivity, production reliability, and AI integration.

• •You will own how dLocal builds and ships software, ensuring effective engineering productivity and production reliability.
• •Key Responsibilities Own the IDP: Standardized service templates, CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling, feature-flag infrastructure, progressive delivery, automated rollback.
• •Own SRE and production excellence: Reliability engineering across dLocal's payment platforms, observability standards, incident management maturity, production readiness reviews, on-call health, error budgets, operational contract between platform and product engineering teams.
• •Own AI-assisted engineering: You own how AI shows up in the developer workflow at dLocal, including the evolution of dCoder, our proprietary AI code.
• •Requirements Proven experience in engineering management and leadership roles.
• •Strong understanding of AI-assisted engineering and its impact on software development.
• •Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling, and feature-flag infrastructure.
• •Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• •Ability to drive change and reshape how hundreds of engineers work.
