Senior Manager, Flight Software

Lead and manage flight software engineering team for spacecraft software development and on-orbit operations.

• •Lead and scale Capella's flight software organization responsible for spacecraft software development and on-orbit operations, shaping architecture and execution across programs.
• •Key Responsibilities Lead and manage flight software engineering team including hiring and career development.
• •Own technical direction, architecture, and execution strategy for flight software.
• •Ensure delivery of high-quality mission-critical software for on-orbit and pre-launch systems.
• •Drive engineering best practices: code reviews, automated testing, documentation.
• •Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, FPGA, systems, and ground software teams.
• •Requirements Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE or related (advanced degree preferred). 10+ years of software experience.
• •Experience with flight/embedded software and on-orbit operations.
• •Strong leadership, architecture, and program execution skills.
