Senior AI Engineer, Internal AI Platforms

Build and operate an internal AI platform for a regulated environment.

• •The Senior AI Engineer will build and operate Cortex, an internal AI platform powering retrieval, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and integrations with enterprise systems for a regulated environment.
• •Key Responsibilities Design and improve internal AI platform components: retrieval, document analysis, workflow automation, and RAG pipelines Integrate AI systems with enterprise platforms like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, and Slack Develop agentic workflows and define secure architectures for private/cloud-isolated AI systems Partner with Security, IT, and Compliance to implement governance, permissions, and auditability Build observability, evaluation metrics, and platform standards to support long-term adoption Requirements 5+ years professional software engineering experience 2+ years building AI/LLM-enabled production systems, RAG, and vector search Strong Python and/or TypeScript programming experience Experience deploying scalable services in AWS or private infra and knowledge of security/governance Practical understanding of LLM limitations and evaluation
