FAQ

Straight answers to the questions candidates ask before trusting a job platform with their profile.

What is Rocketlist?

Rocketlist is a free job matching service for startup and tech roles. You add your profile once, then Rocketlist ranks active jobs by fit so you can spend time on the opportunities that match your skills, experience, location preferences, and career goals.

How does scoring work?

Each job receives a 0 to 100 match score against your profile. The score is based on structured signals such as required skills, experience, seniority, location, domain fit, role type, and compensation. The highest-scoring jobs are the ones that line up best with what you have shared.

Is Rocketlist really free for candidates?

Yes. Candidates can sign up, view matched jobs, save roles, and receive match updates for free. Rocketlist is built to make money from companies in a later phase, not from charging candidates to see their own matches.

How are job listings sourced?

Rocketlist refreshes job listings from public company career pages and applicant tracking systems. Listings can change quickly, so every job detail still needs to be confirmed on the employer's application page before you apply.

What do you do with my data?

Rocketlist uses your profile data to calculate job matches and improve the product. Your current employer is hidden by default. Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy, and you can contact Rocketlist anytime to request access, correction, or deletion.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion by emailing hello@rocketlist.ai. Rocketlist removes account, profile, and matching data within 30 days of deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Who is behind Rocketlist?

Rocketlist is built by Federico De Ponte, previously the founder of SCAILE and now building from f.inc. You can read more on the About page.

Still have questions?

Email hello@rocketlist.ai, and you'll reach the person building Rocketlist directly.
